Robert (Bob) F. Gentry

Bob Gentry was one of the first openly gay mayors in the country, the first openly gay mayor in California, and the first openly gay elected official in Southern California. Gentry served the city of Laguna Beach while working in an administrative position at the University of California, Irvine. He was and is a champion for LGBTQIA+ rights.
